Mr. M. Tahir Beg is a skilled Civil Engineer and a Tech-Savvy with computer programming skills. As a Structural Engineer at Consulting Engineers Collaborative, USA, Mr. T. Beg designed steel and reinforced concrete structures for buildings including composite beams, columns, shear walls and Vierendeel truss.
With Loya Associates, Pakistan Mr. T. Beg worked on the design and analysis of components of prestressed, steel, and reinforced concrete bridges which include girders, diaphragms, deck slabs, transom, piers, piles, abutments, retaining walls, footings, columns and Vierendeel truss.
With Mushtaq and Bilal, Pakistan Mr. T. Beg designed and analyzed steel and reinforced concrete structures which include design of beams, slabs, columns, retaining walls, shear walls and footings. Along with that he designed masonry structures like beams, slabs and footings. He also designed single tee beams and double tee beams for prestressed concrete structures.
At Beg Associates Mr. T. Beg worked as a Computer Programmer and developed computer programs. Using FORTRAN and Basic languages he developed Plane Truss, Plane Frame, Grillage, Space Truss, Space Frame, Design of prestressed concrete girder (bridge), Analysis of helical stairs, Nonlinear analysis of plane truss, Buckling analysis of plane truss, Analysis of beams, Analysis and design of piers (bridge), Finite Element programs of plates and solids.
Currently Mr. T. Beg is working with PSCE, Inc., USA, which is a licensed Civil and Structural Engineering Company that provides professional engineering services throughout Central Texas, USA. Under Mr. T. Beg’s leadership PSCE has bagged prestigious accolades, namely, recognition for delivering personalized engineering services, Minority-owned Business Enterprise (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Historically Underutilized Business (HUB).
